EXPORT DATA FROM LOTUS NOTES
Technology I like art is a soaring exercise of the human imagination. Many traditional and new technologies and their innovative combinations have helped humans to a great extent. One such technological invention was that of the Lotus notes, developed in the 1970's which is basically like a database. In simple terms, export data lotus notes is a desktop application that organizes and displays databases on a user's local workstation. It includes e-mail, calendering and scheduling, address book, database, web server, blogging, programming etc. These databases can be highly customized to present the data that is associated with them. The former lotus notes now known as IBM notes is one half of a collaborative client-server software platform sold by IBM. While Lotus notes is a client part of the software platform, Lotus Domino is the server.
The tools provided by IBM notes helps in enhancement as well as simplification of the workplace collaboration. The export data lotus notes were innovative and by most accounts, a great collaborative software, However, data extraction from it is a very difficult process. However, there are several options to do so. The first is to connect notes to SQL. Another is to export the data into Lotus 1-2-3 and then into Microsoft Excel if needed. Exporting view data into a comma-separated value (.csv) file is another option. However some tools have also been developed for this purpose, but their high cost and licensing methods, have made them far out of reach.
